Scarce OOP title in VGC, SEE IMAGES\nHardback book. The story of the author, who was captured at St Valery in 1940 and sent to a PoW camp in western Poland. He was sent to work on a German-owned farm, and formed a relationship with the farmer's daughter who was also the the local BDM (Nazi Girls Organisation) leader. They fled west together from the advancing Soviets, and after many adventures reached British-occupied Berlin, where they were married. 170pp, 10 b&w illustrations.
