Fragzone is the ultimate substrate for fragging corals and so much more. This versatile, rubble sized liferock has the porosity you need for best adhesion of frags and a color that blends in beautifully with any reefspace. Fragzone is infused with living, spored bacteria making it an ideal biological media for refugiums, filter boxes and sumps. The optimum macro porosity and rubbly architecture of fragzone is perfect housing for not only beneficial bacteria but copepods, sponges and other natural reef foods. Fragzone can also be mixed with sand to create a base layer for borrowing fish and inverts like jawfish, shrimp, and gobies. A strategically placed pile of fragzone is also appreciated by smaller fish and fry as a just their size hide, and its a nice live rock option for nano reefs too.
