These one-yard shorts take 1 yard or less (just under 1 metre) of 45\"" or 60\"" fabric (1.14-1.5 metres) in width. Styles 1 and 2 have a front zipper. Style 1 has a waistband, yoke and pockets with front tucks. The wrong side of the fabric will show when the legs are rolled up. Style 2 has a front buttoned waistband, back elastic waistline casing and a piping trim. Style 3 shorts have an elastic waistline casing and  drawstring at the sides. Style 4 wrapped shorts have high cut legs, a front waistband fastened at the back and a back waistband fastened at the front.
