Abiding by the rules sets as part of the Bottled in Bond Act, passed all the way back in 1897, the whiskey is bottled at 100 proof (or 50% ABV as we say round these parts). The act also ensures the whiskey comes from a single distillery, from a single season and is aged for at least 4 years.
