Dragon 1/72 Sd Kfz. 171 Panther Ausf F\n\nGerman Medium Tank\n\n20mm Scale\n\nBrand new, sealed and unbuilt. \n\nRef No : DN7647\n\nThis is exactly the kind of model Dragon are famed for. A superb example of the Pz Kfw V Panther Ausf F. \n\nFirst introduced in 1943 during Operation Citadel on the Eastern Front, the Panther's introduction to combat was less than glorious. Following some remodelling it reappeared forming a large chunk of the combat tanks within the Panzer Divisions (along with the smaller Pz Kpfw IV). The Panther was the German response to the superb Russian T-34 with sloping frontal armour and a more powerful gun. \n\nThe Ausf F had a modified turret with lower silhouette at the front and included a suakopf (\""pig's head\"") gun mantlet. The Steel Wheels fitted to the Ausf G were also fitted to the Ausf F.
