Gene Krupa - Live at the New School CD Album - Used

In the final years of his life, Gene Krupa faced numerous serious health challenges, including leukemia, emphysema, heart disease, and severe back pain. Yet despite these obstacles, he was still able to deliver inspired performances. One of the last came on April 17, 1973, when he was joined by tenor saxophonist Eddie Shu, pianist John Bunch, and bassist Nabil Totah at the New School in New York. Recorded just six months before Krupa\u2019s death, the performance remained unreleased for 26 years until Chiaroscuro issued Live at the New School in 1999.
