This satin varnish is water-based, non-toxic and self-leveling. It restores the painting to Atelier Interactive's original satin finish and is one of the most popular finishes as it is not too shiny or dull. It can be used either as a medium to change the sheen levels of acrylic paints or as an over-varnish for acrylic painting, providing a non-tacky protective coating. It is a mid-viscosity product made from hard acrylic emulsion. The varnish is non-removable, however it can be overpainted. It can also be followed with a solvent-based varnish.\nThis product is part of the Atelier Traditional range.\n\nThe Atelier Traditional painting range allows you to use traditional acrylic techniques that have been evolving since 1965.
