An 18 micron Australian merino wool layer wraps a polypropylene performance core, combining a soft next-to-skin feel with added strength. The A/SYS-1 Flatiron 185 sits within the warmer A/SYS-1 range and uses a thermo-regulating natural fibre structure. Nuyarn construction delivers more warmth from a lighter build. The leggings use a 185 GSM Nuyarn merino wool core and are stated to offer the same warmth-to-weight ratio as most 260GSM weight 100% merino products. Eyelet knit zones are placed at the lower back to increase breathability, while a wider comfort waistband and soft flat seaming help reduce seam abrasion.
