Icebreaker’s Women’s ZoneKnit 260 Half Zip base layer uses merino wool construction for winter training and high-energy sports. ZoneKnit mapping combines a 260gsm body with lighter, engineered ventilation zones to help manage heat and moisture during activities such as running and cycling. A deep-set half zip allows quick airflow adjustment, while the dropped front and back hem adds coverage. The merino wool is specified as an 18 micron weave, with zoned 200gsm areas formed in a vented eyelet structure. Underarm ZONES and other targeted hot spots use the softer, vented 200gsm merino to support airflow where it is needed most. Flatlock seams and raglan sleeves keep the finish smooth and reduce interference through movement, and thumb hole cuffs add extra hand coverage.
