For general care, soapy water or a diluted mixture of green soap and water will remove accumulated dirt. This should be followed by a rinse with clean water. To remove grease spots, a light scrub with a de-greasing agent is recommended. Your local hardware store will be able to recommend a green soap that will be suitable. The bench already has a teak coating, so in order to preserve this, it is recommended to coat it with another layer. On this particular model, a clear version is recommended.
