Oase BioCliff Aquarium Filter Media 1Ltr\nOase BioCliff Filter Media has a porosity of 85% and a surface area of 1250m\u00B2 per litre which make it ideal for biological filtration. BioCliff Bio-Media is structured in such a way that both aerobic and anaerobic zones are formed, which enables the decomposition of both nitrite and nitrate in the aquarium. Oase BioCliff is made from a purely natural, siliceous rock which is pH-neutral and has no effect on the hardness or pH value of the aquarium water. It has an extremely large filter surface for the colonisation of beneficial filter bacteria which help control ammonia and nitrite levels. The varied media size, ranging from 5-15mm helps increase contact time of the water for improved biological filtration. Directions:For best results, Oase BioCliff should be rinsed prior to use and placed in a position to maximise the through flow of water. This makes them ideal for use in an external canister filter, internal filter, hang on filter, ory
