Finerfilters FF-6010PF water filter cartridge has been made using high-quality coconut carbon from an experienced manufacturer, it offers similar levels of performance to original manufacturer filters at a fraction of the cost.This compatible fridge filter is the perfect replacement cartridge for use in a continuous filtered water system and ensures your ice and water remains crisp and clear for a period of up to 6 months. Simply push your existing 1/4" water pipe straight into the cartridge and it will grip to make the connection. There is no need to use fiddly screw connectors.This filter is an EXTERNAL filter that fits on the 1/4" pipe at the back of your appliance.Installing Your FilterThis filter has built-in 1/4" push fittings at either end.Turn off the cold water supply.Prepare a towel or bucket underneath the current filter to catch any residual water.Remove collet clips from the old filter & remove the tubing from the ends of the old filter.Align the new filter with the water direction using the flow arrow. Ensure the end of the tube is flat and burr-free.Insert tubing into the inlet until the tubing stops. Ensure that the teeth grips have fully engaged.Before connecting the tubing to the outlet, turn the water supply on to flush the filter into a bowl, bucket, or drain. - Flush the filter for approx. 5 minutes or until the water runs clear. - Failure to complete this step may cause blockages within the integrated water system of your fridge, and cloudy water/ice.Insert tubing into filter outlet and push on collet clip if provided. Check for any leaks.
