The BDR's are designed to absorb resonance generated in the main bearing housing, making it quieter and thus reducing unwanted noise from being transmitted into the platter. The BDR's are one of the upgrades that is included with all of our acclaimed Turntable Enhancement Kits and they work extremely well - the improvement is easy to hear. \n \n\nThe BDR's are easy to fit -  simply stretch them over the main bearing housing, placing one at the top and one at the base. There's no glue needed.\n\nThis inexpensive mod will improve the performance of all belt drive turntables where the bearing housing is accessible.\n\nMain Bearing Damping Rings are one of the turntable modifications designed by SRM/TECH.
