Odyssey OPTIS Tubeless MTB Tyre Insert 27.5\"" or 29\""\nOPTIS (Odyssey Pneumatic Tyre Insert System) is a lightweight, highly tunable, high-efficiency, tubeless tyre insert. Tyre assemblies are one of the most important performance factors for any bike. They provide all the grip to the ground, they serve as a critical first element of the bike\u2019s suspension and they provide essential support to the cornering forces that the bike encounters. Pressure choice is always a compromise to balance these requirements. Available in 27.5\"" or 29\"" sizes with a standard length OPTIS valve or a longer OPTIS valve (ETA TBD) for taller carbon rims. Replacement inserts also available separately (OPTIS valve needed). Why use OPTIS? OPTIS prevents tyre burping. By pressing the tyre against the rim and preventing gaps from opening, burping becomes almost impossible. OPTIS allows for lower tyre pressures.
