--Whitens white clothes safely.\n--Liquid-laundry-detergent.\n--Shake well before using and dilute bluing in cold water.\n--Mix a few drops of up to 1/4 teaspoon of bluing in cold water before adding to wash water.\n--If excess bluing is added causing stains, soak fabric overnight in 1/2 cup household ammonia to 1 quart cold water in tightly covered container to remove stains.
