The Truetone CYR (formerly Visual Sound CYR) Reverse Polarity Converter is an adapter cable that reverses a power supply's polarity. This allows you to connect a centre-positive device to a centre-negative power supply, for instance, or vice versa. Truetone CYR: Applications The CYR is particularly handy for connecting a centre-negative power supply to Yamaha keyboards, samplers and drum machines. However, it can also come in handy in powering centre-positive effects pedals. The cable is fitted with standard 2.1mm barrel connectors.
