HAT Industrie 1/72 WWI British QF 4.5\"" Howitzer\nWWI Artillery\n20 mm Scale\nBrand new. \nRef No : HAT8243\nThe kit includes 4 WWI British QF 4.5\"" Howitzers.\nThe QF 4.5\"" Howitzer was the standard British Empire field howitzer of the WWI era and represented around 25%25 of British field artillery. It entered service in 1910 and was still in use as late as 1942 having beein used by the BEF, as well as by British, Australian, New Zealand and South African batteries in East Africa as well as the Middle and Far East. It was subsequently replaced by the 25 Pounder.\nThe QF refers to Quick Firing (4 rounds per minute) and the gun was towed either by horse teams or later by vehicles - later versions had pneumatic tyres. By the start of WWI, 192 had been produced.
