With its 22-inch diameter, this is the second largest cymbal in the Paiste 2002 Black Big Beat Series. Completely hand-made and hammered in the brand's renowned Swiss factory, it can be used as either a crash or a ride and produces warm, deep, rich and complex sounds with medium to loud volume. When used as a crash, it offers average-length sustain, outstanding stick definition, perfectly manageable decay and an intricate layer of mid-range wash. It's a great addition to any kit and is especially suitable for rock, pop and fusion styles. The Paiste 2002 Black Big Beat Series Roughly 45 years after the introduction of the first 2002 cymbals, Paiste present a completely new concept: the 2002 Black Big Beat cymbals. While these models are based on the legendary 2002 series, they're slightly larger and sound a little warmer and deeper for a more complex tonal mix. Sizes in the series vary from 18 to 24 inches and each cymbal can be used as either a crash or a ride.
