It also included a blend of navy blue and black along with Vans' iconic white Sidestripe. Additionally, it had everything from reinforced toe caps and padded collars to a lace-up closure and Vans' patented rubber waffle outsoles.All of this kept this Vans Old Skool looking similar to many of the Old Skools that came before it, but that became what we loved about it so much. It stayed true to the original Vans vision by paying tribute to what has worked for the Old Skool for so many years now. The Vans Old Skool Navy White was released on January 1, 2000, and retailed for $70.
