Gear Linkage Clamp Bracket Fix Repair Kit for Vivaro Trafic Primastar
X
Fits: Vauxhall Vivaro 2001 onward, Nissan Primastar 2001 onward and Renault Trafic 2001 onward The symptoms of this fault are very obvious; the gear stick moves freely up and down but won't select a gear, there are issues with gear selection or inability to select any gear at all. The gear linkage cable can also be completely detached from the gearbox. The nylon bush on the end of the selector cable wears over time and simply pops off. The nylon material is very soft; as it operates on a metal ball joint it wears prematurely causing this fault. The vehicle manufacturer’s solution to this issue is to replace the gear selector cable (at a great cost), this however will wear in the same way as the original and the issue will reoccur. Some customers have advised us of some replacement cables only lasting 3 months before popping off again. Fit our clamp on to the bush end and tightly secure the cable to the ball joint for life., Weight: 0.220462262 Pounds, Manufacturer: X8R LTD
