It also ensures that the imitation biscuits sits low in the water, just like real biscuit that has become waterlogged.\n\nLightly nick the hook through the side of the mixer opposite the counterweight and position it in the back of the hook ensuring the point remains fully exposed. To reduce accidental loss, we recommend side hooking in conjunction with a long hair rig, using the counterweight shot pinched on to the hair loop as a hair stop.\n\nWe recommend using super specialist type hooks, size 12 for small biscuits and size 10 for the larger size.\n\nNote: Buoys
