They are rebated into the leading edge or inside face of the door and operated by a lever which sits flush when the bolt is engaged and the door is closed. To ensure ease of operation, FB series flush bolts have a deep finger recess and large lever. A standard installation requires two flush bolts morticed into the top and bottom of the door. For maximum security the flush bolt has a hardened steel bolt, zinc plated with an anti-rattle sleeve.
