JELLO BIAFRO\n\n& The Guantanamo School Of\nMedicine\n\nLP\n\nThe Audacity of Hype\n\nBLUE VINYL\n\nIN STOCK NOW\n\nREMASTERED\n\nIn the twenty or so years since\nhis brainchild, The \n\nDead Kennedys, officially\ndisbanded, Jello Biafra \n\nhas made a career of spoken word\ngigs interspersed \n\nwith musical collaborations with\nsome of the most \n\ncompelling figures in underground\nmusic. \n\nRecording projects and touring\nwith the likes of \n\nMelvins, NoMeansNo, DOA, Mojo\nNixon, and Lard \n\n(with Ministry\u2019s Al Jorgensen)\namong others have \n\nkept his \u201Cpunk as political\nweapon\u201D message sharp, \n\nbut the lack of his own band made\nthese \n\ncollaborations usually\nshort-lived and left Biafra \n\nwith a ton of songs that never\nsaw the light of day. \n\nInspired by The Stooges gig on\nIggy Pop\u2019s 60th \n\nbirthday in San Francisco, Biafra\nlaid plans for his \n\nown 50th birthday party and\nfinally decided it was \n\ntime to start a band of his own.\nA9
