As Retro 51 puts it, 'Life is too short to carry an ugly pen'. And we agree. Their bright colours and cool designs have more than a hint of nostalgia about them, and all their pens are made with good old-fashioned values in mind. The Tornado Douglass fountain pen is inspired by Frederick Douglass, the abolitionist and orator, who was born into slavery and escaped at the age of 21. The engraved barrel features a stonewashed pewter finish and copper trim. It's supplied with an ink cartridge and a converter in a themed cylinder which doubles as a pen stand as well as a protective case. Refill with standard pattern ink cartridges or bottled fountain pen ink.
