As Retro 51 puts it, 'Life is too short to carry an ugly pen'. And we agree. Their bright colours and cool designs have more than a hint of nostalgia about them, and all their pencils are made with good old-fashioned values in mind. Back in the 1940s, the Stratocruiser was the pinnacle of aeroplane design, with its spacious double-deck design and luxurious interior. The jet engine didn't really take over for commercial planes until the 50s and 60s, so it was propeller-driven - an elegant propulsion method, for a more civilised age. The Stratocruiser's design is echoed along the body of the pen, including acid-etched rivets and panel lines. Officially licensed, with PanAm logo on the top.
