The album was the first by the three-man line-up of Steve Miller, bassist Lonnie Turner and drummer Tim Davis, and featured guests Ben Sidran, Nicky Hopkins, and Paul McCartney on drums and vocals on My Dark Hour , credited as Paul Ramon.
