Initially matured in first-fill bourbon casks in 2017, this 8-year-old whisky spent its final six months finishing in fresh Cognac casks made from top-tier French oak from Limousin. A Wolfburn single malt Scotch whisky that will appeal to fans of the elegant French brandy, this is a limited release of just 3,900 bottles that showcase a refined, delicate Cognac influence subtle sweetness, rich depth, and a whisper of fruit. It was bottled at 46% ABV, natural colour, and non-chill filtered just as it should be.
