Hay is an absolute essential in the diet of rabbits and nearly all herbivores, so providing them with different ways to access their hay provides them with enrichment.\nUnfortunately, most hay feeder bags on the market are made with fabrics that herbivores can't digest, such as cotton or even worse plastic fabrics (fleece etc). As rabbits and other small pets will always nibble at their furnishings, we want your pets to be safe by not ingesting harmful materials. And this is why we use only natural untreated hessian fabric for our feeder bags, as it is non-toxic and digestible, so can never cause intestinal blockages or illness. It is also why we do not machine sew these bags using spun cotton or any other spun threads.
