Developed specifically with water features in mind AquaPond Care Pond Blue Aqua Dye treatment prevents the growth of unsightly algae in your water features. Algae prevention is achieved by using a blue dye which blocks out the sun light ensuring the algae can not grow and multiply. Also protects your fish from predators such as herons by making the fish harder for them to spot. When the dye is added water becomes a subtle blue colour and leaves any non submerged pond plants unharmed. Harmless to all forms of life in the water feature, monthly repeat treatments will ensure complete algae control and create a beautiful deep blue pond or water feature.  Use 25ml per 3100l of water 250ml treats 31,000 litres (6,820 gallons) Directions for use: Remove as much algae as possible using a net prior to treatment to increase the products rate of effectiveness. Calculate the ponds volume in litres using the following: [Length x width x average depth (in metres)] x 1000  Shake bottle well Remove dosage chamber cap and foil seal, squeeze bottle until chamber is filled to the required level.  Add 25ml for every 3100l of pond water. We recommend adding the treatment to a bucket of pond water and then evenly distributing this over the surface of the pond, or an area with high flow.  After 1 hour, if the water is not blue enough for your taste, add an extra dose until the desired colour is obtained. The colour will fade over time due to sunlight, rain dilution and UV filtration so simply redose to return the pond to the desired shade of blue.
