The bass and trebles remain excellently balanced, while the midrange is slightly scooped. Besides musical styles like rock and metal, this double-coil pickup's warm sound also makes it great for more traditional genres like electric blues. Because of its sublime tightness, you can also use the Seymour Duncan Full Shred with lower guitar tunings on your 7-string and with quite a bit of distortion and/or overdrive. The wax potting of this 7-string element ensures that you won't suffer from squeaky feedback.
