This Denis Wick 5504C Straight Mute is the premium version of the popular mute, with a copper bottom as an added feature. This provides a warmer sound compared to the original model which is made entirely of aluminium. This mute was also handmade and has strips of cork that allow you to clamp it firmly into the horn of your trumpet or cornet.
