This is a slightly over-wound Pete Thorn signature PAF-style 8.8 kOhm double-coil bridge element, intended for electric guitars in particular but also suitable for semi-acoustic guitars. This pickup is based on that revered Patent Applied For element from the 1950s and possesses its best features. To give your amplified guitar just a little more punch to rock out, Suhr and Pete designed this Plus version with extra windings than the regular Thornbucker. Otherwise, the + shares its base with this meticulously developed PAF style humbucker.
