Eminent Dane Carl Martin and renowned American session guitarist Pete Thorn have combined forces to develop a Single Channel High Gain edition of the PlexiTone. This 9V mini-monster boasts the headroom of a 12V stompbox so can be comfortably teamed up with a vast array of different amps. Pull the Drive pot from light British-style crunch all the way up to a fully saturated overdrive, while the Tone pot can essentially be treated like a high-cut filter, so you can gradually remove the trebles from the full-range sound by twisting the pot from right to left. It's this feature that makes the Carl Martin Single PlexiTone able to adapt to match the natural sound of any electric guitar. To finish - simply balance the drive with the clean bypass sound using the Level pot, or give it a nice boost.
