Pigment info: PG36\nSeries 3\n4oz (118ml) squeeze bottle\n\nAkua Liquid Pigment was originally developed for monotype printmaking, but it can also used for other techniques such as Japanese woodcut and painting on paper. The Liquid Pigment contains no chalk, fillers dryers or polymers and the addition of honey give the colours a brilliant, vibrant appearance that dry with a luminous finish. It has a slow drying formula which will allow for an extended working time to create images on a monotype plate. It is thick in consistency which is perfect for both additive and reductive monotype techniques. It can be mixed into Akua Intaglio Inks or the Transparent Base to create new colours, it can also be printed on top or beneath Akua Intaglio inks for multi-plate overlays. All colours are lightfast.\n\nThe Liquid Pigment is rolled directly onto the plate rather than transferring the ink from a separate slab, saving time and money.
