Akua Retarder Clear Liquid 118ml 4oz For Liquid Pigment Monotype Printing

The Akua Retarder has two purposes. A few drops mixed into Akua Liquid Pigment helps transfer ink onto dry paper during the printing process. It can also be added to Akua Liquid Pigment to prevent the ink from drying on the monotype plate thereby extending the working time of the ink. \n\nA clear liquid, it is ideal for hot, dry or very cold studio conditions. Only a tiny amount is needed, too much will cause the ink to bead. It is not suitable for use with Akua Intaglio Inks. Easy clean up with water.
