Located in the sun-drenched hills of Sauveterre-de-Guyenne, a medieval bastide founded in 1281 by Edward I of England, Ch\u00E2teau Gandoy-Perrinat is a distinguished Bordeaux Sup\u00E9rieur estate nestled in the heart of the Entre-Deux-Mers. Spanning 100 hectares, this family-owned vineyard has deep roots in the Sauveterrois region and has been cultivated by the ICARD family since 1790. The clay-limestone soils of the estate provide the perfect terroir for the emblematic Bordeaux varietals, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. True to the traditions of the region, the resulting wine is intense, full-bodied, and subtly oaked \u2014 a classic representation of Bordeaux's greatness.\n\nAs a Bordeaux Sup\u00E9rieur, Ch\u00E2teau Gandoy-Perrinat adheres to stricter standards than basic Bordeaux AOC wines, including denser vine planting\u20144,500 plants per hectare compared to 4,000\u2014resulting in more resilient vines and deeper-rooted quality.
