The superb Norev Jet Car 1/43 diecast model of the 1968 Con-Ferr Meyers\nManx Beach Buggy in green.\nThe model, (Norev no.841106), measures just under 3\"" (72mm) in length, & is presented in a card window box.\nIt is new, mint & boxed.\nThe Meyers Manx Dune Buggy, was designed initially\nfor desert racing by Californian engineer, artist, boat builder and\nsurfer Bruce F. Meyers. It was produced by his Fountain Valley\nCalifornia company, B.F. Meyers & Co. from 1964 to 1971, in\nthe form of car kits applied to shortened chassis of Volkswagen\nBeetles.\nNorev says: Our miniature is based on the unique version that Con-Ferr developed at Steve McQueen's request for the film The Thomas Crown Affair. In a radiant green color, it features wide tires, in-body headlights, a wrap-around windshield and a reproduction of the \""big\"" Chevrolet Corvair engine.
