A VSOP Bas Armagnac from Clos Martin which has been aged for at least 8 years to give depth of flavour and beautiful balance Packed with fruit; stone fruits as well as dried, with hints of ginger, violet and delicate oak Perfect neat as an after dinner drink, or can be used to make cocktails such as a Vieux Carre A blend of Baco and Ugni Blanc grapes are used to give a full-bodied Armagnac packed with fruit notes The 8 years we age our Armagnac for is far in excess of the legal minimum of 4 years required to label as VSOP Armagnac, but that extra time is worth it for the concentration of flavours Clos Martin work with a small group of local winegrowers to produce very traditional, pure Armagnacs that capture the floral and lively aromas of the local grape varieties
