Solido 1/18 Scale - BMW 1602 (1971) Taiga Green - Item No SOL1808604 - Free Postage For Buyer - Royal Mail Tracked 24 Signed.We have here a really attractive model of this early seventies BMW this example being the 1602 in this very attractive Taiga Green guise.This two-door BMW was highly successful in Western Europe the exception being Italy, where this car was not competitive compared to the Alfa Romeo Giulia 1300Ti and Super.This model made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1966 and was produced up until 1975.This car had a top speed of around 100 mph and could get from 0 to 60 mph in 14 seconds.The interior of this car is finished all in black with subtle and intricate touches throughout.The outer of this model captures the true lines of the real car superbly from the excellently finished front and rear lights, front grille and period chrome like finishing on the front and rear bumpers, window surrounds, window wipers, door handles and door mirrors transporting us all .
