Protecta FR Adhesive is a premium fire-rated adhesive and sealant specifically designed for passive fire protection products. This ready-to-use adhesive is formulated with an inorganic polymer and filler, providing an extra layer of protection against heat transfer in fire situations without detachment. Engineered to withstand temperatures greater than 1,200 degree celcius, this adhesive contains a thixotropic paste that exhibits excellent early grab and rapid bond strength. Its versatility allows for multiple usages, where bonding or sealing is required on very hot surfaces, including stone wool, vitreous, and ceramic surfaces. With its fast-curing properties, Protecta FR Adhesive is tack-free in approximately 1 hour and air cures to a hard finish, especially when heated. It is the perfect choice for adding an extra layer of protection in a fire situation. Key Features: Water based fire rated sealant that gives high bond strength, once cured.
