A small inner shade made of raffia weave in the center shrouds the bulb and creates a glare-free and pleasant illumination. the Parrot floor lamp is a design by product designer Jette Scheib for the French lighting company Forestier. Jette Scheib founded her own design studio in Barcelona in 2005 after studying at the University of the Arts in Berlin. She works for international companies and specializes particularly in the design of lighting, home accessories and gifts. She draws inspiration from nature and organic forms and designs products in perfect balance of aesthetics and technology.
