Dumont Precision Tweezers for Watchmaking, Precision Mechanics, Jewelry Inox 02 is a standard stainless steel composed of C, Mn, Cr and Si. The presence of chromium in Inox 02 makes it softer than carbon steel. Stainless steel 02 is a magnetic alloy and can withstand temperatures up to about 400 °C, but not sterilisable. Almost as strong as carbon steel, Inox is an excellent general purpose alloy frequently used for: CLOCKING AND JEWELRY for the various characteristics that this alloy gives to the precision of tweezers.
