This adapter connects an M2 SSD directly to a PCIe port for use as internal storage. Compatibility: For any M.2 PCIe AHCI or NVMe SSD in M or B+M key. Supports 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 (card length adaptable by breakable pre-cutouts). Gen 3.0 compatible. Your motherboard must support NVMe SSDs. Any Windows, Mac, Linux. For PCIe x1 port (supports x1, x2, x4, x8 and x16 ports) Compatible with type 2230/2242/2260/2280. Plug and play, bootable. Socket M2 type PCIe M Key (accepts M2 PCIe M Key and B+M Key SSDs). Connection between the x1 connector and the card supporting the SSD via flexible cable. Two tablecloths supplied: 10 and 15 cm. Be careful, your motherboard must support PCIe SSD (Bios UEFI) and must be PCIe 3.0 or higher, and if you are using an NVMe SSD it is recommended to use Windows 10. The SSD will be connected by the PCIe connector of the board to the motherboard and will be seen as an additional hard drive.
