He is a musical collage maker, of sorts, who uses electronic, instrumental and concrete sounds to smudge, blur and infuse the airwaves with textural crunch and hiss. This new album for LAAPS poses two questions on the A-side and offers two responses on the flip. Despite its sparseness, it's too involving to be truly background music, with the spaces between the notes.
