Sounds of wind or breath can be very distracting during recordings. Fortunately, you can easily overcome this problem by using a windshield. The Neumann WS 2 is suitable for the TLM 102, among others. Thanks to the acoustically transparent polyurethane foam, the windshield reduces wind by about 24 dB without affecting the sound signal itself.
