Osmo Polyx Oil Rapid Clear Matt is a fast-drying hardwax oil wood finish designed to protect interior timber while maintaining a subtle, low-sheen appearance. This high-performance wood finishing oil enhances the natural grain of wood without adding excessive shine, making it ideal for modern interiors where a natural matt look is preferred. Based on a blend of natural plant oils and waxes, this wood oil indoor solution penetrates into the wood while forming a durable, protective surface. The finish is highly resistant to water, dirt and everyday wear, making it suitable for interior floors, furniture and worktops. It also offers resistance to common household spillages such as water, tea, coffee and wine, helping maintain the appearance of timber surfaces over time. The microporous, breathable finish allows wood to regulate moisture naturally, helping reduce swelling and shrinkage while preventing cracking, peeling or flaking. It also enables simple spot repair and maintenance without the need for sanding in most cases. The fast-drying formula allows recoating after approximately 4–5 hours, making it possible to complete two coats in a single day. Coverage is up to 30m² per litre per coat, depending on the condition of the wood.
