The Visaton AL 170 - 8 Ohm is a 17 cm high-end low-mid driver with a robust, anodised aluminium cone and a solid aluminium, die-cast chassis. Thanks to the elastic rubber suspension and a vented pole plate, this driver delivers outstanding bass and midrange performance, with minimal electrical and mechanical losses. The strength of this speaker lies in its long-stroke voice coil, which provides an extremely large cone excursion. So you enjoy detail and dynamics up to 10000 Hz. Suitable for demanding 2-, 3- and 4-way high-end speakers up to 2500 Hz crossover, with a load capacity of up to 100 watts and a sound pressure of 88 dB at 1W/1m.
