The Hensel Mi-distributor built-in unit with a power switch is an insulated low-voltage switchgear combination in a cabinet form as per IEC 61439-2, suited for wall mounting. The cabinets need to be suitable for outdoor installation, considering the impact of weather conditions on the operational means. Cabinet parts and the cover are made from impact-resistant polycarbonate, halogen and silicone free, in RAL 7035 color, with a transparent cover with quick-release fasteners for tool operation. It meets fire behavior according to DIN VDE 0471 Part 2 – Glow Wire Test 960 °C. Maximum water absorption is 10 mg according to DIN 53473. It features a double-insulated protection measure (protection class II). The unit includes a 4-pole automatic circuit breaker housing, with overload and short-circuit protection, and a PE-clamp.
