The HVI Power Conductor is an insulated, high-voltage-resistant down conductor used within a support tube to maintain a separation distance from conductive parts per IEC/EN 62305-3. This helps prevent dangerous flashovers between the external lightning protection system and indoor conductive components such as electrical installations and pipes. The conductor uses a special outer sheath to avoid creeping discharge and discharge high lightning impulse voltages. It comes in black, with an internal sealing end and an equipotential bonding spring element.
