The HVI Conductor is a high-voltage-resistant, insulated down conductor, which maintains separation distance from electrically conductive parts as per IEC 62305-3. The outer sheath design prevents dangerous flashover between external lightning protection system components and indoor conductive parts, while avoiding creeping discharge. It is capable of discharging high lightning impulse voltages to a reference potential. This black conductor has a 19mm² cross-section, made of copper with a class 2 composition, encapsulated in XLPE (VPE) with seven wires and 5mm nominal conductor diameter. Also, it features a sealing end and an EB spring inside the supporting tube of 4700mm length and an air-termination rod of 2500mm in length.
